小出吉政

Known as a lord of Izushi Castle in Tajima Province from the Toyotomi Hideyoshi era. Among successive lords of Arikoyama Castle, following Hidenaga and Maeno Nagayasu, Koide Yoshimasa served as castle lord. From Tenshō 13 onward, he was involved in renovations of Arikoyama Castle, and around Keicho 9 he built Izushi Castle anew at the foot of the mountain as his new base. Aligning with the Eastern Army at Sekigahara, after the battle he maintained his territorial possession and continued regional governance, devoting himself to the development of the Izushi Castle castle-town.
