Brother of Oda Nobunaga

Oda Nagamasu

織田長益

Brother of Oda Nobunaga, also known as Yūraku. Nobunaga deployed his sons and brothers to rule castles and regions, and the retainer band was organized through family members. He is often portrayed as a tea master, but must be understood from his position as an Oda family member involved in the Kiyosu Conference and post-Honnō-ji politics. After Nobunaga's death, what was contested was not only 'which retainer is strongest' but also which retainer would secure the family members and the young heir.
