Sent a relief force to Arai CastleOn the eleventh day of the seventh month, Ise Sōzui's forces captured Arai Castle from Miura Yoshiatsu and his son Yoshioki. Both died in battle, ending the Sagami Miura house.

Held Edo Castle and met the attack at TakanawaharaOn the thirteenth day of the first month, Hōjō Ujitsuna defeated Ōgigayatsu Uesugi Tomooki at Takanawahara and, aided by Ōta Suketaka's defection, captured Edo Castle as a base for expansion into Musashi.
