1516: The Fall of Arai Castle and the Kutsami Rebellion - Sengoku Shogun Map
In July, Arai Castle fell to Ise Sōzui's forces; Miura Yoshiatsu and his son Yoshioki died in battle, bringing the Sagami Miura house to an end. In Bungo, Kutsami Chikamitsu rebelled against the Ōtomo, beginning a conflict that continued into the following years.

- 1516-07: Arai Castle Falls and the Miura House Is Destroyed — On the eleventh day of the seventh month, Ise Sōzui's forces captured Arai Castle from Miura Yoshiatsu and his son Yoshioki. Both died in battle, ending the Sagami Miura house.
