Asakura forces under Asakura Norikage (Sōteki) met an Ikkō-ikki invasion from Kaga, Noto, and Ecchū along the Kuzuryū River. The ikki army broke after the fighting at Nakanogō in August, and bases including Yoshizaki were burned.
