1506: The Battle of the Kuzuryū River and Akazawa Tomotsune's Kawachi Campaign - Sengoku Shogun Map

When Ikkō-ikki forces from Kaga, Noto, and Ecchū invaded Echizen, the Asakura army under Asakura Norikage (Sōteki) met them along a broad front near the Kuzuryū River. The ikki army broke after the fighting at Nakanogō in August, and bases including Yoshizaki were burned. In the Kinai, Akazawa Tomotsune conquered Kawachi and forced both rival Hatakeyama factions to withdraw into Yamato.
