Wakisaka Yasuharu

A daimyo who achieved military distinction in the 1583 Shizugatake War, held Sumoto in Awaji, and was involved in land surveys, naval forces, and maritime traffic. Though grouped with Fukushima Masanori and Katō Yoshiaki as one of the 'Seven Spears of Shizugatake,' his work controlling Awaji, a strategic point in maritime traffic, cannot be understood through land battle achievements alone.
