Rennyo Dies at Yamashina

Rennyo, the eighth head of Hongan-ji, died at the Yamashina Hongan-ji South Residence on the twenty-fifth day of the third month at the age of 85. His death marked a major transition for the movement he had rebuilt and expanded.
