1493: Meiō Coup and Ise Sōzui’s Advance into Izu - Mapa de los Shogunes Sengoku
A succession coup expelled Shogun Ashikaga Yoshitane and installed Ashikaga Yoshizumi. In the same year, Ise Sōzui (Hōjō Sōun) attacked the Horigoe palace and began building power in Izu.
