The Kyoto front reached a stalemate. Conflicts among shugo houses, deputies, and local warriors became entrenched across Kinai, Ōmi, Mino, Echizen, Owari, and Harima.

- 1470-06: Iga Warriors Deploy to Negoro-ji — Iga warriors supporting the Western Army's Hatakeyama faction deployed to Negoro-ji in Kii Province in June 1470. This is one of the earliest records of Iga military activity.
