1494: Uesugi Sadamasa Dies During the Chōkyō War - Sengoku Shogun Map

As conflict continued between the Yamanouchi and Ōgigayatsu Uesugi, Ōgigayatsu leader Uesugi Sadamasa prepared to attack the Yamanouchi side with Ise Sōzui but fell from his horse and died while attempting to cross the Arakawa River. His death destabilized the leadership of the Ōgigayatsu Uesugi.
