1502: Akazawa's Yamato Campaign and the Outbreak of the Iba Rebellion - Sengoku Shogun Map

Hosokawa Masamoto's retainer Akazawa Tomotsune invaded Yamato, defeated the Tsutsui faction, and damaged temples including Hokke-ji and Saidai-ji. In Ōmi, Rokkaku Takayori's attempt to remove his deputy Iba Sadataka triggered the Iba Rebellion and forced Takayori to withdraw to Otowa Castle.
