1508: Ashikaga Yoshitada Returns to Kyoto and Akazawa Nagatsune Is Defeated - Sengoku Shogun Map

Ōuchi Yoshioki escorted the exiled former shogun Ashikaga Yoshitada, later known as Yoshitane, toward Kyoto. Supported by Hosokawa Takakuni and others, they entered the capital in June, restoring Yoshitada to shogunal government with Yoshioki and Takakuni as its main backers. In Yamato, the invading Akazawa Nagatsune was captured at Hase and executed in August, bringing the Akazawa campaigns there to an end.
