1519: The Death of Ise Sōzui and the Founding of Kōfu - Sengoku Shogun Map
In August, Ise Sōzui died at Nirayama Castle at the age of sixty-four, leaving Ujitsuna to continue the government of his domains. In Kai, Takeda Nobutora moved his headquarters to Tsutsujigasaki in December and began the development of Kōfu.

- 1519-08: Ise Sōzui Dies at Nirayama Castle — On the fifteenth day of the eighth month, Ise Sōzui died at Nirayama Castle at the age of sixty-four. Ujitsuna inherited the government Sōzui had built in Izu and Sagami.
- 1519-12: Takeda Nobutora Founds Kōfu — On the twentieth day of the twelfth month, Takeda Nobutora moved his headquarters from Isawa to a new residence at Tsutsujigasaki. Development of the new castle town marked the beginning of Kōfu.
