1521: Emperor Go-Kashiwabara's Enthronement and the Birth of Takeda Harunobu - Sengoku Shogun Map
More than twenty years after his accession, Emperor Go-Kashiwabara held his enthronement ceremony in March. In Kai, as Takeda Nobutora repelled an invasion from Suruga, his heir Harunobu, later Shingen, was born near Yōgaiyama Castle on November 3.

- 1521-11: Takeda Harunobu Is Born — During an invasion of Kai by forces from Suruga, Lady Ōi took refuge at Yōgaiyama Castle and gave birth to Nobutora's heir Harunobu, later Shingen, on the third day of the eleventh month. His birthplace is traditionally identified as either the castle or Sekisuiji at its foot.
