1537: The Birth of Toyotomi Hideyoshi - Sengoku Shogun Map
Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who would later complete the unification of Japan, is traditionally said to have been born in Nakamura, Aichi District, Owari Province. An alternative birth year of 1536 also exists, and the Nagoya City Museum notes that both dates have supporting grounds.
