Opponent facing the Yamanouchi Uesugi sideŌgigayatsu Uesugi leader Uesugi Sadamasa, campaigning with Ise Sōzui against Yamanouchi Uesugi Akisada, fell from his horse and died while attempting to cross the Arakawa River.
